Sugar Land Modern Kitchen
Homeowners wanted a modern kitchen with more storage and additional counter space. They wanted to incorporate the finest high-quality materials and finishes. This project had two designers, Cindy Whitmer Olrik of Cindy Whitmer Designs, Inc. and Nicole Bruno Marino of Cabinet Innovations.
Exceptional features:
- High-quality custom Wood Mode (built-by-hand) Shaker style overlay cabinetry with dovetail drawers was installed in kitchen and butler’s pantry enroute to dining room. Wood Mode custom appliance panels. We installed crown molding and finished-to-match cabinet’s high-quality factory finish.
- Removed old peninsula and partial wall to breakfast room. Created a larger counter with more countertop and storage space.
- New placement for range top created more food prep space on the new island. Custom metal vent hood with remote blower above.
- Made repairs on hardwood floor in kitchen and breakfast room. Sanded, stained and applied 3 coats of satin finish polyurethane.
- Replaced recessed lighting with LED tape with diffuser.
- Handmade, painted terracotta tile (Paris Metro 11) backsplash adds traditional European flavor in shades of charcoal, green and blue.
- Installed Brazilian natural Quartzite countertops (Allure) in shades of gray, blue, cream and white with intricate veining perfectly complements backsplash.
- Wood-Mode’s integrated new LED lighting integrates seamlessly undercabinet and in cabinet lighting in kitchen and butler’s pantry.
