International Builders Show 2018

I attended the Remodelers Council monthly luncheon meeting on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. I was a panelist along with 2 designers, Sandra Crook of Greymark Construction and Kathy Anderson of Eklektik Interiors.

Our meeting highlighted design trends and updates from the International Builders Show. Designs from a dining room built inside a wine room to LED lighting on cabinet toe kicks, all the latest fads were discussed. My visit to the 2018 International Builders Show gave me the opportunity to see many interesting, state of the art and unique new and trending products.

One interesting exhibit was a wine wall, remodelers and designers are getting more requests to create wine storage spaces in people’s homes.

Wine walls are gaining in popularity because they work in any room. Wine walls take up less space, store a significant number of bottles and are a decorative centerpiece in addition to being functional.
