Greater Uptown Remodel

Greater Uptown Remodel

This was a full kitchen remodel in the Greater Uptown neighborhood of Houston. Originally we were hired to remodel the kitchen. However, Hurricane Harvey caused flood damage to the home and necessitated the replacement of the kitchen floor therefore new white oak hardwood was installed.  The owners are avid cooks and wine enthusiasts so we gave them a kitchen space with adjoining wine room that reflected their interests. There is plenty of storage, many cabinets, some of which are floor to ceiling as well as multiple upper glass door cabinets with LED lights and glass shelves for display items.  There is a custom pantry with motion activated LED lighting.   A large island with lots of seating features a granite countertop, a split stone face and under counter LED lighting. The new kitchen provides form, function and brings in design features such as different textures, contrasting colors and other unique elements. Thanks to Designer Januari Works and Photographer Harry Durham for their assistance on this project. Click on photos for full photo view.
